A Few Things I love – Summer Edition!

With summer slowly coming to a close, I thought I’d share a list of my few favorite things I found over the summer that I absolutely love. Here it is!

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

Sally Hansen Nail Polish – I found this 4-pack at Ross for only $5.99! Which was a really good deal because for an individual one, it would normally cost around $6. I loved the colors that came in this pack as well. Here are the names of each one: Marooned (840), In Full Blue-m (362), Tupelo Honey (850), and Au Nature-al (325). Right now I am wearing Full Blue-m and it’s definitely my favorite right now.

American Eagle Head Wraps – I found these while I was in Indiana earlier this summer and I had to get them. I loved the design and how they were perfect for “bun days” or just as an accessory to finish a piece. These were around $10 each, but at the time they were doing a “buy one, get one 50% off” sale so they were discounted.

Rock Creek 48oz Water Bottle – I try to drink at recommended daily value for water intake but I find myself being lazy when it comes to refilling bottles. But I found this one for around $10 at Rock Creek and I only have to fill it up twice a day. It’s great for those summer days out in the sun.

Eno DoubleNest Hammock – I finally invested in one of these bad boys a couple weeks ago and it’s been great. Easy stowaway, fits two people, and perfect for camping. I feel like everyone and anyone should own one of these. They’re so relaxing, perfect for napping, and easy to carry. I love my Eno Hammock!

Coconut Oil – Probably my #1 favorite thing in the world right now. Coconut has so many uses: cooking, skin moisturizing, makeup remover, natural deodorant, etc… Coconut oil has an endless list of uses. My personal favorites to use coconut oil are to moisturize my skin when I get out of the shower, to hydrate my hair, and oil pulling. I had a friend tell me about oil pulling and how it’s an effective use to keep a mouth healthy and teeth whitened. I’ve been using a tiny amount of coconut oil and swishing it around my mouth 1 to 2 times a day and I’ve been doing this for over 6 months now. And I can say that I’ve definitely seen results with my teeth being whiter and less sensitivity on my teeth.

With summer coming to a close and school starting next week, I have to say that I’m pretty excited to see what this year will bring. I’m ready for more adventures, to meet new people, and continue on a healthier journey. I can’t wait!
