Two weeks ago I traveled to Charlotte, NC and purchased my first car!
The reason for my purchase was because I received an internship for next fall. Unfortunately, it’s a 30+ minute drive from my university.. So it was time to car shop! I researched, trying to figure out what I wanted, and narrowed my choice to a Honda Civic Ex (because of the sunroof) between the years of 2012-2013 with less than 80,000 miles.
I found a couple cars online but I needed to see them in person and test drive them as well before making a decision. I made an appointment to meet with four dealerships (in Charlotte, NC) that carried this particular model. When I arrived at the first dealership, I met with the salesman, who kept in contact with me, prior to the appointment, and he was helpful in showing the car, finding me a low interest rate, and working with me to get a good deal.
A few hours later with lots of paperwork to sign, here she is!
Meet Luna! – my 2013 Honda Civic Ex with 39,000+ miles.
After driving her for a little over a week and adding 1,000+ miles (weekends were meant for traveling), I’m satisfied with my purchase.
